Looking for Keto Chocolate Buttercream Frosting recipe? This is the best recipe for all your low carb cakes, brownies, cupcakes, and cookies! Keto Chocolate Buttercream Frosting – You must try this recipe.

Keto Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Every low carb chef needs a frosting recipe. And this Keto Chocolate Buttercream Frosting recipe is the one to keep in your back pocket at all times.

To get an authentic frosting, you really need to use a bulk low carb sweetener in powdered form. I like to use either Swerve Confectioners or Sukrin Melis. I’ve also powdered a regular granular sweetener like Natvia in the past with good results.

Frosting isn’t essential and a lot of people who eat low carb choose to eat cakes without it. However, I find that the icing really dresses things up and is expected when sharing cake or cupcakes with others. And, it’s a great way to convince others that you really can have your cake and eat it too!

This was amazingly good!! I used whole milk as I didn’t have the others mentioned in your recipe. I did use powdered swerve but I think next time I’m going to powder some of my homemade sweetener so I won’t have the cooling sensation. Just a pinch of salt and it was just. This was so close to my fully sugar loaded icing, was about perfect. Thanks for the recipe. Good enough to just eat a few bites by itself.
