I love making truffles. They’re perfect for a party, gift-giving around the holidays or a bite-sized treat.
But the best part is just how easy they are to make. You don’t need to turn the oven on. You don’t need any special equipment or weird ingredients. And they’re also sugar-free!
The truffles are rolled in chopped hazelnuts. For added flavor, you can toast your hazelnuts.
Ferrero Rocher truffles inspired these little sugar-free Nutella truffles. Admittedly they are not quite the same. Sorry, I didn’t have the patience to create all those layers that Ferrero Rocher truffles have!
With only five ingredients, I think the tradeoff and convenience of making these is well worth sacrificing some of the layers.
